CHON 102 Honors Seminar 1 Credit

CHON 399 Independent Study 1-6 Credits
Students identify a problem, issue or topic, outside the major, to be explored in
depth under the supervision of a teacher with expertise in the selected area.
Credit hours may not exceed three (3) hours per semester, and cannot exceed six
(6) hours during undergraduate tenure.
CHON 499 Senior Thesis 1-2 Credits
Application of research methods to students’ major area of concentration. They
identify a research topic from their major courses, develop a research design, and
complete the senior thesis under the guidance of an instructor.
